One of the conferences that I gave during an Advent retreat at the Montfort Spiritual Center in Bay Shore, NY, took as its focal point a remarkable statue of Our Lady and Our Lord holding a heart between them. The notion of offering one’s heart in consecration is one of the most common ways of speaking about St. Louis de Montfort’s spirituality and this conference is a development of that theme.
