I’ve already made Montfort’s Act of Consecration, can I do it again?

St. Louis de Montfort himself recommends that those who make an Act of Total Consecration renew this gift of self in a formal way each year on the anniversary of the date on which they have done so for the first time. He includes going through a process of preparation that includes the key pieces of knowledge of self, knowledge of Mary and knowledge of Jesus as an important part of this renewal. Montfort himself also recommends a daily act of renewal of the consecration by means of a shorter formula much like the following – Jesus I am yours and all that I have is yours through Mary, your most holy Mother.
